Terms of Service
These terms are the rules for using Petmodoro. By using the app or the website, you agree to them.
1. Who we are

2. The service
Petmodoro is a focus timer with a companion pet. It is available on the website and on Android. The timer is free. Some extras are earned, unlocked by watching rewarded ads, or bought. Petmodoro is a productivity and entertainment tool. It makes no health, medical or treatment claims.
3. Your account
- You can use the timer without an account. You need an account to sync your progress and to keep purchases on all devices.
- Give us a real email address and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You must be 13 or older, or the minimum age in your country if it is higher.
- You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
4. Purchases and refunds
- Prices are shown in the store or checkout before you pay.
- Android purchases are made through Google Play. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund rules.
- Web purchases are made through our payment provider, which is the seller of record. Refunds follow the provider’s rules and the refund terms shown at checkout.
- Lifetime means the life of the product: you keep the purchased feature for as long as Petmodoro is offered. If we stop running Petmodoro, we will tell you at least 90 days before.
- Items you earn or buy have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- A free feature will not be moved behind a paywall later.
5. Rewarded ads
Watching a rewarded ad is your choice. When you finish the ad, you get the reward shown. Ads never run on the timer screen. If an ad does not load, you do not lose anything.
6. Acceptable use
Do not:
- break the law or the rights of others;
- try to hack, overload or reverse engineer the service, or get around the purchase or ad checks;
- use bots or scripts to earn rewards;
- upload photos you do not have the right to use, or photos of people (pet photos only);
- harass others (when social features exist).
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.
7. Our content and your content
- Petmodoro, Rio, the art, sounds, text and code belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive license to use them in the app. You may not copy or sell them.
- Pet photos you upload stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to make your pet and to run the service, as the Privacy Policy describes.
- The pet picture we make for you is for your own use in Petmodoro.
8. Availability and changes
We try to keep Petmodoro running, but we do not promise it will always work without a break. The timer works offline. We may change or remove features, but see section 4 for paid features. We may update these terms; for changes that matter, we tell you before they start.
9. Disclaimer and limits of liability
Petmodoro is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost time, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
10. Ending
You can stop using Petmodoro at any time. We can end your access if you break these terms, or if the law requires it. Sections that by their nature continue (such as 7 and 9) continue after that.
11. Law and disputes
These terms follow the law of the publisher’s country. Before any legal step, please write to contact@petmodoro.app so we can try to fix the problem.
